The founder of Francais Authentique is a French man Johan Tekfak. He is an online entrepreneur and a father of two children. Before he worked as a project manager in a big company Nemak in the automotive industry. Helaunched Francais Authentique in 2011. He continued working on his job in Nemak and at the same time, he taught French online with his podcast, website, and Youtube-channel.
Johan uses very simple and understandable language so its optimal for French learners. He doesnt speak too fast so you can easily catch what he is saying. I used Francais Authentique first time when I had studied only for one month in Duolingo and I found it already useful back then.
one thing i do not like about the packs, is that johan is a bit too enthusiastic about them. he likes to make fun of other learning platforms. he also tends to make wild predictions about how much money you will make, and things like that. it might be a bit annoying at times, but i realize its his job. he is probably the most successful language instructor at the moment.
speaking of other platforms, there are a lot of them. there is also a different french learning platform for every different budget. if you are ready to invest a little, then you can also get the deluxe packs for $35. this is a lot of money, but it is worth it if you are serious about learning french.
