i never thought i would write a book. its a great experience, i m a regular guy, a regular person. i have my own life and all the pain that it represents. i would like to write a book that people can relate to. i would like to uplift the positive side of india, write about the beauty that resides within us. i would like to write about the unity that exists in us. this requires a huge mettle. books are about ideas and these ideas need to be explained, they need to be presented in a different way. this is the purpose of writing a book. my book is about the spice, the marvel, the pride that exists in our country. it is a portrayal of india that no one is going to believe unless they have experienced it first-hand. writing this book was a rewarding experience as i never thought that i would write a book. it is wonderful to write about something with an aim and have others take interest in it. its great to work towards making the world a little better.
theres a poem called check up by r. k. narayan in the book called the poet s world. it is an old poem. it has remained unchanged for so many years. when i read this poem, it struck me. in today s society, where everyone is busy all the time, it s especially important to have time for ourselves.
parthiban has a wide experience as an actor and a director but no one will ever call him a self styled genius. he is probably the most humble person i have ever met. its no doubt that he has strong beliefs, like, the movies he makes and the characters he portrays in those movies. but, he is modestly perceived as the most versatile actor of tamilnadu. and i think that should be your criteria to judge the modern actors in tamilnadu. will you judge r.prabhu or rajinikanth and others on their super hit movies? no, you will judge them with the work they have contributed to the industry in the most versatile ways.
