After intraperitoneal inoculation of guinea-pigs with human hepatitis A virus, the animals developed the disease which is characteristic of this virus. Transitional immune response followed by virus elimination from blood and intestinal villi was evidenced. Guinea-pigs showed no marked susceptibility to hepatitis A virus of the cell culture as judged from serial blood and intestinal mucosa tests. However, the virus was detected at the end of the 15-20 days lasting post-infection period in the lungs of guinea-pigs. The study failed to reveal immune regulation of the virus elimination from the blood and intestinal villi by the immune mechanism.The surge in the use of internet-connected drones could create a new billion dollar market for US technology companies by 2020, according to a new report by a research firm.
