i have the serial number from accurip that registered on 7.5.x and the proshow producer from proshow 9 that is registered and works. i can’t register the proshow producer from proshow 9. i also tried the manual registration and it won’t register and the function of being deactivated is also on the producer from proshow 9. the serial number from accurip that registered on 7.x also says the same thing.

very, very disappointed. i have now had a project that i’ve been doing, since i sold my camera, complete to the finish, put my presentation, do a quick test render in proshow, and it won’t let me publish. i can’t figure out what is going on. i have sent an email to their support team and have yet to have a response. we have to have it finished on time for our next presentation on friday (about 3 hours from now). i’ve also had another complete slideshow done by someone else (never checked or anything), and that completed nicely. there is no rhyme nor reason for this. i was able to get a version i really liked, and the slideshows i’ve done up to this point, and many others have worked fine. i’m going to try another version i made when i was having the same problem, and see what happens. it seems like proshow is not being reliable. i am very angry that i will have to rush through this on friday, knowing that if my customer gets a defective rendering, it’ll never get made the way it should. this is the first time this has happened to me with any program, and i’m completely flummoxed, and so disappointed. bad software.

i got the same message but was able to open the program with the proshow key and continue. it was a little more frustrating than what you went through. i am an independent sales rep and have been representing the proshow after i went to them for help. i bought proshow to do more slide shows for my clients. i have had 3 clients in the last 2 weeks using the 3.05 version and they were no issue. one of my clients had his photo slide shows done a few weeks ago and the videos worked fine on his pc. i do not know what happened or how to fix it. i just hope that you get this thing fixed. you may want to send an email directly to the company to check on this issue. it is possible that they have had a change of ownership or something like that. just a thought.
