While the original game in which players can “drop a b-line” when in pursuit of the same criminal, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has a side-mission where the player can “sneak” behind the chasing speeder and then throw a rock at the back of the police car, causing the driver to stop. The policeman himself will jump out of his vehicle and chase the criminal who did the sneak.
