Key Player attributes: Your stats will determine whether you have the chance to save your game, and thus your progress can be lost at any time.
Your bar above the character stats tells you what stat you’re going to aim at to max out your stats. You can only have one strength, accuracy, magic, etc… stat at a time. The bars between the stats tell you how many times you can use each stat.
To max out a stat, hover over it to see what stat the bar is filled with. If the number at the end of the bar says 10, then you can only have 10 of that stat type in your arsenal. Once all your stat bars are completely filled and you are no longer restricted on the number of that stat type, you can continue to set up to attack. This is really the entire game, except for saving the game. The bars start at half.
When you select your character, you can change your stats as you see fit. Simply shift-click the bar you want to spend your stat on. The stats are locked in as soon as you select one, so keep that in mind if you want to change your strategy in the middle of a fight. Also, you wont be able to change your stats once you’ve selected your character, so keep that in mind, too. You can only have one of each stat open at a time.
Special Attack: Your special attacks are at the maximum value allowed.
Luck: Your luck is at the maximum value allowed.
Defense: You dont have enough defense to survive one hit.
Strength: You’re too strong, and you’re losing.
Aim: Your aim is off. Your stats are at maximum.
Accuracy: You’re too accurate, and you’re losing.
Speed: You’re too fast, and you’re losing.
Spirit: You’re too slow, and you’re losing.
Magic: Your magic is at the maximum value allowed.
Player stats:
Speed: The stat represents how fast you are in the current situation. Depending on the situation, you can be moving or you can be stopped. The chances you will be moving are affected by the situation. If you are running and you get hit, it will slow you down. If you get hit while you’re moving, you will slow down and stop.
Strength: The stat represents your physical toughness, or the amount of damage you can take before dying. This stat is also represented by the maximum hit strength value you can hold before you’re too weak to survive a single hit. To add to this, there is a possibility of having your health get reduced every time you get hit, too. The amount of chance to lose your life is based on how fast you are moving, how strong you are, and how many times you have been hit.
Aim: Your aim is how well you are at hitting attacks against your enemy. This is affected by the situation you are in, especially the health bar.
with dmc5 co-op mod, you can play as nero, dante or v in any mission of divergence mode. more playable co-op missions and bloody palace co-op with up to 4 players (nero, dante, v and vergil). of course various graphics options and a boss swap feature for m19 and m20 and ability to adjust dirt level. you can also force battle background music. rock it!
when you first start the game, you will be automatically set to normal mode. just complete all 20 mission in normal mode to unlock this achievement or, if you’re finding it too hard for your first run, die 3-5 times to be rewarded easy mode. simply change down to easy mode, upgrade your health, devils arms, and demon trigger, then carry on where you left off on normal using mission select. easy mode stats:
after you have beaten hard mode, you will unlock very hard mode. once again, you must beat all 20 missions to unlock this achievement. it is highly recommended you have a fully upgraded health bar, devil trigger, and maxed out royal guard style to beat this. you will also need plenty of holy water, vita stars and gold/yellow orbs, so you may want to invest a good amount of time orb farming before attempting this. very hard mode stats:
in bloody palace, if you start a new game (or start a new mission) and you are in the throne room and someone is in the throne room with you, the other player will join you in the throne room as a guest. you can not have guests in the throne room. that player will be restricted to take a bow and play the song when you start the stage. the same goes for the other player in the throne room. if you want to play as a guest, you’ll have to start a new game. if you select the wrong player to be a guest, that player will be considered as a real player and will be the host for that stage.
