The BlueFish File Mirror is a program which is monitoring a number of folders (maximum of a hundred) and copying the changes of this folders (referring to the files and subfolders) to other folders with the same name to another volume or to another root folder. With these features the BlueFish File Mirror is excellent for backup purposes as the changes to the files and folders are transfer the same time which changes took place. (Warning! Only the actual files will transfer to the destination and not the changes on the attributes of the files)
The program does not need a setup or install procedure and it size is extremely small. As it needs no setup it can be on a removable drive and operating with no problem at all. Step aside the executable, the program needs a file which will contain the parameters needed for it and a file which will keep a log for its operations.
Starting, the program seek for the parameters file ( config.ini ) in the folder which resides and loads the configuration. In case which the needed file is not present the program creates an empty file with the name config.ini which must be edited by the user. If the program start succesfully creates a log file inside the folder which resides, with the name log.txt which is updated every minute with the program operations.
Before the first run of the program ( and of course every time that a change will be made to the parameters ) the config.ini MUST be correctly edited.

BlueFish File Mirror Free Download

1) Add a directory or volume where you want the file (or folders) to be copied to.
2) Add a destination where the file (or folders) will be copied to.
3) Select one of the following:
A. Copy the files.
B. Copy the attributes.
C. Copy the attributes and file/folder sizes.
4) Adjust the frequency of the log (in minutes) to what you prefer.
5) (Optional) Select the directory or volume to be scanned for changes.
6) Start BlueFish File Mirror Cracked Version (BlueFish is a good editor of the Windows and Linux platforms).
7) After the program start, you can edit the config.ini (the parameters file) to define the destination (the folder/volume where the change will be copied to) and any other needed parameters.
8) In the status bar a message is shown when the program is ready to scan the desired folder/volume for changes.
If you want to change any parameter in the config.ini you must press the “Apply” button.

Use the “Noop icon” button to display a image rather than a text message in the statusbar.

Use the icon for the “Go to parent” function for Windows.

The program automatically adjusts the transfer frequency to match the frequency at which you log changes (in minutes).

The log file is also automatically updated (at 1 minute intervals)

If the log file does not exist, BlueFish will automatically create the log file when the transfer starts.

When you select a folder and file(s) to be transferred, BlueFish will wait until you click “Go” before performing the transfer.

When the program starts, it automatically runs a pre-check on the selected folder, then starts the transfer. You can choose to start or stop the transfer at any time.

If you want to start or stop the transfer in the middle of the process, you can use the “Stop” button on the status bar.

The program automatically selects the correct filetype based on the extension of the file that is selected for transfer.

With BlueFish File Mirror you can record all changes that happen on a single or multiple folders, to a backup volume or to another directory.
The BlueFish File Mirror does not create any unwanted files, it actually creates new copies of the files which will be updated every time the changes on the directories is made.

Files that are being monitored are copied or copied as it is on the destination volume.
This program is not limited to one volume, in fact any number of folders can be monitored at the same time.

There is no setup or install, you can run it any where, even from USB flash disk.
