The View option controls how your drawing is displayed. You can zoom in, pan, and change the look.
The grid option enables you to set the reference grids and dimension styles. The grids are vertical and horizontal lines that serve as guides for drawing. You can change the reference settings in the Options dialog box. The dimension styles are guidelines for dimensions. There are two types of dimension styles, with and without units.
Before you begin using AutoCAD, it is important that you become familiar with the user interface. In AutoCAD, the commands are represented by icons on the toolbar and are indicated by a text label in the bottom of the drawing area.
