  DreamHack Summer 2015 was a visit to the legendary LAN tournament of KOF was at this year? It was probably the best professional tournament in the history of KOF, because of the way it was organized, with a championship of LAN for the best four teams of the world. “THE ELDTEN RING” got to the semifinal and the eight man final was decided by a vengence grudge match between “NONA” of Team Guilty (TGG) and “BLAYZER” from Team Gekkostate (GG).

  When i heard i have a chance to make it to a more prestigious tournament like DreamHack, i took the journey and i got to the semifinals. “Grand Prix was one of the best tournaments I had the chance to play before, by far. However, DreamHack Summer 2015 was different in a way that at least 8 of the 16 participants were foreigners and the atmosphere was so much different that it could have been like a friendly match in the regular KOF series.

  The first match was against Deja Voodoo of Casa Fabulosa (FFT), they were a team that has been participating in many professional events in the last 3 years, even winning The DreamHack 2012 Winter finals, “La Noche” of Negativa Roja (NR), “Mundo” of Hiruma’s Team (MR), “Bjergsen” of OpTic Gaming (OG) and “Sanshiro” of Blue (BLU). Once again i was facing the same problem i had with Torneko’s Team (TNG) at Grand Prix, it was impossible to adapt to their fast pace and their constant motion. In addition, Deja Voodoo defeated “MR” in regular KOF matches, yet another reason for the loss. The other semifinal that caused controversy among the Mexican community was “Sanshiro” vs. “Vanquish” of AAI. AAI were a well known Mexican team with a very calm and controlled temperament that for some reason was not good enough in the tournament. The final was incredible since all the 8 participants were from the United States of America.

  “Vanquish” was a team that had been struggling for some time against the four top American teams, “Guilty”, “GG”, “Ghost” and “Mr. R”, their performance had been inconsistent, often in the lower bracket. They had many chances to win
