New Fantasy is a free MMORPG created with a unique twist in that it is a heavily PvP based fantasy RPG, using the Camelot Engine. Unlike many other MMORPGs, there is no experience system, leveling or a grind of any sort, instead the world is broken into territories that are controlled by a Warlord. Strictly PvP, players are either on one side or the other. Although, there will be friendly maps available for players to join. These maps will exist as PvP maps, as well as PvE. PvE is being focused on the RPG aspects of the game, such as story, character creation, and crafting.
Players will select a side in the war, and will either be a Knight, a Death Knight, or a Shaman. The War is the land of the Elden, a massive area that is split up into various pieces. Each piece of land is broken up into territory and works as a separate level. Characters can move from one territory to another, and will retain their territory after being killed. Shrines will be present in each territory, and will be unable to be destroyed.
Players will have the option of going into a dungeon when questing, but will have to fight their way through other players in the area to get there. The aim is for this to be very PvP friendly, as the focus is on team work. While questing, players can access crafting. Crafting is broken down into five separate categories, starting at the Dummies level and going through to Stone, Bronze, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. The goal is for players to use these crafting tools to create their own equipment and armor, as well as pets.
There is a short tutorial at the start of the game, which will explain the basics of the world. To give more content to players, each level has a login reward on top of the usual login reward. This will be quests and gemstones. Players can carry over gems they find into the next level, and can also get gems by killing monsters. Players can also exchange gear and skill gems for cash that can be used for shopping in the portal store.
