This is the way ARM defines the default callable function. For x86/x64, it is _efi_cgh. For the arm architecture, it is _efi_helper. For other architectures, it is the non-default name of the default callable function, namely _call_unimplemented_frame_fixup. It also applies if the default callable function is undefined. So, these define the default callable function, and they work for a common PIC C compiler with one of the three implementations. So that, you dont need to specify the default callable function with the compiler flag. The compiler will take care of it. If you have a specific implementation of your compiler, such as 64 Bit one, then you need to specify it explicitly.
