As an example, if you create a background that’s matte, it will look different than if you create a layer that’s glossy. It’s helpful to know that many settings are available to help you layer and create your work. Gradients are a great way to blend your content and background content. And while there’s nothing wrong with layer blending in Photoshop, it’s important to use care. If you blend the two too much, the content that overlays it will wash it out!

The first thing to note about Photoshop Elements 2020 is that it is now a free product.
