a) Start with the correct operating system, you can set it up by copying the IMDB Icon Framework to your applications directory (do not use the “Copy to Applications” option in the installer as that will make your icons appear on the desktop).
b) In the Finder, select the IMDB Icons Framework, click “Get Info”, check the box “Show Package Contents”, then drag the entire folder to the Applications directory. (In the Finder, hold down Option when you select the IMDB Icon Framework in the folder list and choose “Get Info” from the menu bar)
c) Reboot.
If you want to use the PNG format, please follow the instructions for install:
a) Install with the “Archive Extractor”, the “Installer” or the “Files” application. (You can also install the IMDB Icon Framework with any of those.)
b) Drag the.plist to the trash.
c) Install the IMDB Icon Framework.
That’s it! Your icons should now appear on the desktop.
You can use your own names for the icons by following the instructions on the “Custom Icons” section of the installer, for example by editing the.plist.
