jQuery problem with clicking on elements that is loaded via AJAX and onclick()

In my page i call an ajax request after a user clicks on a button. What i mean is that i call the ajax request and it returns some html with several divs of information.
What i would like to do is to make the onclick() function for the information divs to be triggered in every case. At the moment they are only triggered on click events of the original page.
I tried several suggestions i found by googling like:
$(“*”).unbind(“click”);
document.unbind(“click”);

$(“*”).click(function (e) {

});

and so on.. nothing worked for me unfortunately.

A:

$(document).ready(function() {
$(“*”).click(function (e) {

});

});

That should do it.
I use the.ready() handler for $(document), but you could use a custom event of your own if you wanted to.

Then don’t call it. Just use the content of the divs. That’s what it is for. All these divs are your “content”, and it is very unclear what the point of your AJAX is if you still have to apply a click handler to them.
This is the content div:

This is the click handler, and it will work on all divs, including the content div, because it’s just the regular div already:
$(document).ready(function() {
$(“div”).click(function (e) {

If you need to somehow extract the content of the contents, then you will have to put something in them. So assuming all the content divs are the same, this is how you could do
