DAZ3D–Poser-Genesis-1 -2 – -3-Starter-Essentials-Bundle
Ive worked on an off for a long time to produce Poser figures and I’ve been quite surprised at the current work on the Genesis 2 figure range. Its by no means perfect, but it is certainly impressive. The main issue with Victoria6, is that in DAZ3D, she doesnt fill a whole body.
Ive just been asked by a customer to have a look at DAZ3D’s current models and figure they contain the extensible creatures that Genesis 2 figures are meant to simulate. The customer wants a good idea as to their quality so in return asked I reviewed some of these models in DAZ3D. To be honest, as no photos of these models were given I wasnt able to tell if they were actually good models or just students trying to learn it. Anyway, I came across these 3 models, all published by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc and all seemed to include figure errors. Ive also included the Model Library in the zip so you can see for yourself the extent of the mistakes. I ask that you please use original files, in this way, even if you buy or use a model from Dimension3D, youll be helping to support and promote him.
DAZStudio 4.5 + DAZ3D costs about $495 and is still the best option for 3D figure design today. The Fusion Mesh feature is robust and the performance gains are substantial. Ive been using DAZ3D for some time with DAZ Studio 4.5 and this has been a pleasure. DAZ3D is not free and as of today a license is required. Just like Fusion Mesh and Aiko 6, DSON has been removed from the giveaway. If you are looking to create digital 3D figures, look no further than DAZ3D. If this product were a 3D figure design software package, I would be willing to bet that this product would easily make DAZ3D head to head. Like DAZ3D, DSON is a product that is firmly established and the quality of the product is unquestionable. DAZ3D offers a 3D modeling experience like no other.
