This application is designed to display the orbit of an arbitrary number of massive objects using a combination of graphics and Java application. The position of each object in terms of its center of mass and center of momentum, and its velocity in each direction, are all displayed on the screen. The software computes the gravitational forces between pairs of objects. This information is used to update the positions and velocities of the objects on the screen.
The program can display the orbit of three particles (as well as a massless particle used as an inertial frame of reference), first discovered by Montgomery. Additional particles and their initial positions and velocities can be specified using the Display Switch menu.
Orbit Program Requirements:
– Windows 7 (or later), Macintosh OSX 10.7.4 (or later), or Linux/Unix
– Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6u24 or later
– A Java Webstart version of the software will not function on a Macintosh.

Spacecraft. A robotic spacecraft, due to be launched into orbit of Earth by the end of the year, will be used to study the solar wind. The program will be constructed from simple building blocks developed for another, unrelated project.
1. “Default Solar System” – Initial position and velocity of the spacecraft. Although the mass is around 7.5 times the mass of the Earth, the position of the spacecraft relative to the Earth is arbitrary. However, the initial velocity, speed, direction and other properties of the spacecraft can be changed in order to give the following two cases:
1. A “farther” case – The orbit is counter-clockwise (CCW), starts at a distance of 1 au from the Earth, inbound towards the Earth, then outbound at a high velocity away from Earth. Note: by “CCW” I mean the “positive” sense of the word.
1. A “closer” case – The orbit is clockwise (CW), starts at a distance of 1 au from the Earth, inbound towards the Earth, then outbound at a lower velocity away from Earth.
2. The spacecraft is to be inserted into an orbit. This case is simpler, so it can be solved in its own right. The cases for orbits of objects approaching or receding from the Earth’s orbit are obtained by reversing the orientation of the spacecraft.
3. “No force”. This case is obtained by setting the Mass value to zero. The default case should be between the case of Case 1 and Case 2.
1. “Test Orbit” – A single spacecraft, at an initial position of 3.0 au, 1.5 au, 1.0 au, 0.5 au, 0.0 au. This is a more demanding case, since the spacecraft is subject to a strong gravitational field.
1. “Test Dynamic” – A single spacecraft, at an initial position of 5.2 au, 4.8 au, 4.3 au, 2.8 au, 1.7 au. This is a more demanding case, since the spacecraft is subject to a strong gravitational field.

Although macrolides are widely used for treating gastrointestinal disorders, their exact effect on gastrointestinal motility remains unclear. Therefore, this meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the effect of macrolides on gastrointestinal motility. Relevant literature was searched in Pubmed, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, and Web of Science. Fifteen studies on the effect of macrolides on gastrointestinal motility were included in the meta-analysis. The methodological quality was assessed according to Cochrane’s Risk of Bias Assessment Tool. The data were analyzed using STATA V.12.0. The analysis showed that macrolides significantly increased the number of isolated peristalsis contractions (odds ratio =1.72, 95% confidence interval 1.22-2.43) and the number of isolated peristalsis contractions in combination with duodenal contractions (odds ratio =1.47, 95% confidence interval 1.22-1.79). Similarly, macrolides significantly increased the number of prolonged or non-propulsive phase peristalsis contractions (odds ratio =1.57, 95% confidence interval 1.11-2.21). Also, they significantly decreased the number of peristaltic contractions with contraction amplitudes ≥1.0 cm (odds ratio =0.53, 95% confidence interval 0.41-0.68).
