Reineur St. Jacques appeals the district court’s denial of his motion to suppress evidence seized from his apartment pursuant to a search warrant. The facts are known to the parties. We affirm.
A. Background

St. Jacques was charged with two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. Secs. 922(g)(1), 924(a)(2). He moved to suppress the evidence seized on the basis that the warrant authorizing the search was invalid and the fruits of the search were fruits of an illegal search. In the course of its order denying the motion to suppress, the district court denied the government’s request to take evidence outside the presence of the jury.
