As phpMyAdmin is also a web application, it can be vulnerable to cross-site scripting. One such exploit is SQLi, the vulnerable proof of concept shows how it works.
I have to enumerate because, well, who has 4 Domain servers? All of which are vulnerable to SQL-injection or in a state of version-info-missmatch on Apache. Theres no strong evidence of anything but Windows guest VM, so I found a cred for that user, and from there enumerate until I find something useful.
This is a highly accessible website for a low box. Ill start by sniffing the https://twitter.com/hashtag/hashstaging?urls=1 page and authenticating using creds from libpcap that I stored at my home. Once authenticated, Ill initiate a post request using the same creds and get a nice shell. Ill then look for creds using the super simple user/pass of xe-downloads. The credentials have username credentials from the /etc/tls/certs/ file. After cracking the hash, Ill find creds for the next user and reuse them to pivot to a HTTPS site that has a free password re-use exploit in the same way I reused the password for the creds I crack.
Ill have to enumerate a crap-ton of things to get a shell. There are two reuses. First, I’ve got a set of creds, so they’re all valid within Zabbix, but not the next user. Ill also crack the login creds I found from the initial enumeration. From there, there’s a zabbix client to add creds to a zabbix instance which reuses the creds I got from the VM. That gives me the creds for the next VM, and I just enumerate until I find a usable credential. Then in the next VM, I restart the service so that the creds are valid for Zabbix and the next VM.
First website was a log-in form. I was able to load a website using my users creds, but I had to manually enter the site and the data. After looking for a password, I found it. I then used a SSRF to trigger a cgi-bin, and then edited the code to trigger the site. Then my SSRF was replaying a traffic dump that I captured and I replaced the code on the website, and then I started to issue requests and replay the capture for free creds. Finally, I found the third creds I needed and I got to a completely internal login webpage. I hit the login page and provided a DNS challenge. I got a pointer from my sniffing, and there were creds from /etc/hosts in the DNS response, which I used to login and crack the hash.
