AutoCAD License Key Full Download [Mac/Win]

AutoCAD is often used for architectural, mechanical, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering, structural analysis, and manufacturing. It is available in more than 70 languages.

An AutoCAD drawing is produced in a two-stage process:

2-Stage Process

AutoCAD uses two stages to create a drawing. The first stage builds a mathematical representation of your design, and the second stage (AutoCAD says “rasterize”) turns this into a visible display. The math is done in a software component called a “template.” The display is drawn on a digital file called a “page,” and is therefore an inherently vector-based representation of your design. In the first stage, the template is actually an assembly of individual objects. These objects must all be laid out on the page in the correct order before the object is complete.

For example, a typical 2-D template consists of (assuming a 10″ x 8″ drawing page):

An object “layer” (an object that is built inside the template)

An object “page” (an object that has “displayed” on the page)

An object “region” (an area of the page that is filled by an object)

A text object.

An object “template” (the template to which the above objects belong)

A “layer” to which the objects belong

The first object in the template layer is the object that you work on. When the “rasterize” or “view” command is run, the “layer” is displayed.

Each object in the template layer has a unique “extended property”, which is used to organize the objects. For example, in Figure 1, the “Layer 2” has a “Name” of “Houses” and the “House 2” has a “Location” of “Nantucket”.

An object also has a number of property-based subproperties. For example, the “House 2” has a property called “A:NumberOfRooms”.

Figure 1: Template Layer

1. In the drawing below, we are editing a template called “template1.dwg” and we have edited the Name of the template to be “New Template.”

2. Now we want to change the Text font from the default “Times New Roman” to “Courier New”. When a drawing is opened

Advanced application development – AutoLISP / Visual LISP

AutoCAD Cracked Version supports AutoLISP, Visual LISP,.NET and Java for scripting. AutoLISP is based on HyperLISP. AutoCAD Crack first supported Visual LISP through the Workbench 2000 and later Workbench 2001. AutoCAD Torrent Download 10 introduced a new runtime. The new runtime is called QuickLISP. The new runtime is not backward compatible with the previous versions. Since AutoCAD Full Crack 2017, Visual LISP is supported as the script language with QuickLISP, AutoCAD R14, and AutoCAD LT.

Since AutoCAD 2012,.NET and Java support are supported as the scripting language. Java support is now through the.NET bridge application. Java support was originally announced in AutoCAD 2008. AutoCAD supports both the standard JRE (Java Runtime Environment) and Oracle JRE (Java Runtime Environment). AutoCAD LT supports Microsoft Windows only.

AutoCAD itself can be run in an IDE such as Eclipse. Some developers and consultants run AutoCAD within IDE environments like the AutoCAD plugin for Eclipse.

AutoCAD supports programming and scripting in the following languages and environments:

AutoLISP / Visual LISP
Visual Basic
Visual C++
Microsoft Visual J#
AutoCAD Architecture
AutoCAD Electrical
AutoCAD Civil 3D
Automation Studio

AutoLISP was a high level programming language with an object oriented language syntax. The original AutoLISP was based on the HyperLISP language and is now a subset of this language. AutoLISP is supported on Microsoft Windows, Unix, and Mac OS. In AutoCAD R14, Visual LISP was replaced by QuickLISP, which is based on Visual LISP. QuickLISP supports backward compatibility with the previous version of Visual LISP.

AutoLISP is the scripting language of AutoCAD. It is based on the Autodesk Productivity System. It provides an architecture for manipulating objects, defining and customizing user interfaces, and developing custom applications.

AutoLISP supports the following key language elements:

Edit the preferences for AutoCad, shown here:

In the Preferences dialog box for AutoCad, select General Preferences…
Under the Preferences… window, select the Options category and the Editing tab.
Select the “Tools” radio button on the right side of the “Keyboard shortcuts” tab.
A list of shortcuts for running tools is now available. If the shortcut “autocad” is not listed, click the “Edit shortcuts” button.

Scroll to the bottom of the list of shortcuts. A “Options” tab appears.
In the “Edit options in Edit shortcuts” box, add the letter “a” to the
start of the keyboard shortcut for “Autocad”. Select the “OK” button.
The shortcut “autocad” is now added to the list of shortcuts.

With that done, the shortcut “autocad” will now run the “AutoCAD” program.

First, create a shortcut of Autocad using

If you are on Windows, right click the desktop, select New, then Shortcut.
The shortcut is usually saved in the Start Menu folder.
Then just run it when you have AutoCAD open.
That way you don’t have to put your whole AutoCAD path in the short.

you can set shortcut for your program.
System > Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts.

Enter name of your shortcut, e.g. MyShortcut.
Enter description of shortcut.
Select “application” from the list.
Enter details for your shortcut.

What’s New in the AutoCAD?

Add annotations to your drawings, even if they are not part of a standard drawing. Use new drawing layer type to keep annotations separate from your drawing. (video: 1:12 min.)

Powerful Markup Feature:

Use tag tools and multiple tag tools to find the precise location of a drawing element with annotations or text. Then, easily create new documents to make and annotate drawings. (video: 1:25 min.)

Edit blocks in your drawing. Now, edit blocks directly in your drawing, without having to create a new drawing. (video: 1:43 min.)

New Drawing Tools:

Group Layers:

Use a Layers Properties dialog box to organize your drawing by layers, or groups of layers, with new Group Layers dialog box. Easily name and change properties of your groups of layers. (video: 1:02 min.)

Snap to Edge:

Draw from a precise edge, such as a line or point, or from a range of selected points, and then draw a line or polyline. Quickly move to a specific edge or edge range when you start drawing. (video: 1:16 min.)

Move Tool:

Navigate in and out of a series of objects, without manually selecting them. Draw, move, and delete a series of shapes, edges, or curves with the new Move Tool. (video: 1:05 min.)

New Express Tools:

Right Click for More:

Use the new Right Click feature for more context-specific commands. Right click on an object to open a context-specific menu with more commands for editing and applying that object. (video: 1:09 min.)

New Commands:

Draft is a small, discrete, free-hand drawing tool that lets you start a new, unconnected drawing. (video: 1:38 min.)

Navigate Polyline to Polyline is a command that lets you connect two or more polylines by following their path. (video: 1:06 min.)

With the Spend command, draw a polyline along a spline or polyline. Then, spend the line by drawing more lines along it or by subtracting or intersecting it. (video: 1:23 min.)

Spline to Polyline is a command that lets you create a spline by connecting your shape points. (video: 1:
