Arrambam dubbed in HindiPlayer Ek Khiladi Arrambam (2013) is an Indian Tamil romantic comedy film directed by Sundar C. The film features Dhanush and Sayyeshaa in the lead roles, with Aishwarya Dutta, Kovai Sarala, Sathyaraj, Vivek, Vijayaraghavan, Nizhalgal Ravi, Maqbool Salmaan, R. K. Selvathan and Sarathkumar in supporting roles. The film, produced by Dhanush, began production during 2011 and was released on 10 May 2013. It is the third collaboration between Dhanush and Sundar C.The film was remade in Telugu as Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2015) starring Ram Charan and Poorna.
Plot
The film starts with two best friends living in a village in Tamil Nadu. Their friendship blossoms into a love-hate relationship, and to this day, the duo is not able to find a solution to their problem. Now it is thiruvathirai day and two days are left to arrange and get the gold and pearl necklaces, which are necessary to marry. The gold and pearl necklaces are always kept with the groom. At that time, the groom’s family are in a convoy from a place near a temple. They come back with a gift of gold and pearl necklaces. The boys try to find another place to get the necklaces, as they should be given as a present to the groom. They finally come across an empty house where the necklaces are kept. The father of the bride sends a marriage broker to take the necklaces for the groom. While they are away, the boys are caught with the necklaces. Suddenly, the marriage broker comes and takes the boys to the bride, who happens to be the daughter of the groom’s mother and is in love with the boy.
The boys are taken to the marriage hall, and now the wedding starts. The wedding is stopped suddenly, and the boys are taken to a new place. The film ends with the bride and groom getting married.
